Tips To Transitioning Your Wardrobe From Summer to Fall

eshankti

As fall approaches I typically don't purchase many fall pieces because I live in the South and have a longer summer but as it gets closer to the winter and the cooler air draws near I find myself implementing a few tips to get the most out of my wardrobe.

1. Layer Layer Layer: Purchase blazers (thrift store) cardigans, jean jackets to layer with long maxi dresses for cooler nights.
2. Booties: Are fun to wear especially peep toe booties which are perfect for end of summer/fall weather.
3. Stockings: You can still wear some of your dresses and skirts just pair them with a durable pair of stockings or leggings.

I'm a eBay Seller: Plus Size Leopard Print Wrap Dress

Hi beautiful girls, I'm officially back to selling gems on eBay my dream is to have a successful online boutique but I have to start small. However, when I ran across this beauty I knew I had to purchase a few for my beauties who love beautiful things and keep one for myself (don't judge me). I've said many times on my Youtube Channel and I'll say it again. I consider leopard print to be a neutral meaning you can do some much with it. Today I played it safe and pair it with my round toe orange Zara Pumps and a clutch. I fell in love with this dress because of the wrap design it gives me more of an hourglass shape while concealing my tummy area. This dress can easily transition into a fall piece by pairing it with a nice blazer and booties.

Holy Chic Plus Size OOTD

I have driven past this mural for years and always thought to myself that I would shoot there one day. Today that happened, it was very nice out today and I wanted to wear my new "Holy Chic" shirt from Old Navy. As of lately things have been transitioning around me and some major things are about to transpire. I say that because that is what I believe mostly importantly that is what I feel. While uploading and editing this photo I began to think about the fashion community in Memphis and how proud I am to be apart of something great. Enjoy...

Wearing A Smile Is Your Best Accessory: Sundress OOTD & Urban Decay Electric Palette Review

Hi beautiful girls. I wanted to share a selfie I took on Thursday. I know selfies aren't blog appropriate and I promise to be a bit more professional going forward. However, currently this is a one-woman operation but I will be a bit more creative in the future.

Well Thursday I had such a awesome day. It was a simple day but I really enjoyed myself. I decided to play in my make-up with the Urban Decay Electric Palette and a bright lip. I absolutely love the color pay-off from the palette. I always use either the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk or either Mac Paint Pot in Painterly as a base. Then I apply the vibrant colors.

My outfit consisted of some very old pieces I found in my closet. I haven't worn this dress in years and although my style has evolved tremendously I wanted to reflect on the "old me" or "take it back to the basics". My inspiration was bohemian chic.

I think every woman should own a cuff to complete the boho look. This bracelet is timeless and will always be a staple fashion accessory.

I found these old earrings in my jewelry box and it reminded me of the Basketball Wives era when everyone was wearing statement earrings. These are made in the shape of a peacock and the colors went beautifully with my dress.

I scored this beautiful boho inspired ring from Dillard's several years ago and thought it was the perfect accessory for this look.

A great foundation is a must for sundresses or really any dress. Spanx is my best friend it really helps to smooth out the imperfects and prevents panty lines and the unpleasant feeling of your dress getting caught between your butt.

eShakti.com

Last month I was given the opportunity to review a crop top and skirt set from eShakti.com. I featured this look on my Youtube Channel as a Memorial Day Inspired OOTD. I choose this set because of the nautical blue strips and the navy blue skirt. The set really put me in the mind of a "pin up" style and really appealed to me. When I received the set I was impressed with the quality of the material and the ability to customize your items to your liking. The skirt I received has pockets in which you can choose to have removed. eShakti also allows you to tailor the length of your skirt to your desired length or add or remove sleeves. Now because I am a plus-size girl I love the fact that eShakti caters to sizes 0-36w.
